Why Tychron

Buy messaging at the source

Tychron is the licensed carrier itself — the numbering, the registrations, the compliance, and the platform are ours. Whether you're a brand sending your own traffic or a platform building a product on top, buying at the source changes everything downstream: deliverability, accountability, and what you pay.

The distinction

Where your message actually goes

A message can take a long road to the network: an API, the platform behind it, that platform's aggregator, and onward — with every hop adding latency, a margin, a filtering policy you can't see, and one more place for accountability to blur when delivery goes sideways.

Send through Tychron and you've connected to the licensed carrier itself. Traffic enters GlobalCast — our own ARIN-issued IP space, announced from 94 anycast points of presence — rides our cloud-native platform, and exits at the top of the delivery ecosystem: direct connections to mobile networks where we hold them, and the same top-level aggregation the tier-1 carriers use for the rest. No extra layers stacked on top, and one party accountable to you for the whole journey.

The proof

Four things you only get at the source

  • Numbers direct from the source.* Tychron is an FCC-approved numbering authority: we provision numbers directly rather than renting them through a chain. Cleaner provenance, faster porting, and voice, SMS, and MMS living together on the same number.
  • Compliance handled in-house. Our own vetting team reviews every 10DLC campaign against the same standards carriers enforce — before carriers ever see it. Platforms with their own CSP accounts share campaigns to us as their Connectivity Partner, no re-registration.
  • Throughput engineered, not guessed. Every carrier meters traffic differently — daily brand limits at T-Mobile, per-minute limits by class of service at AT&T. Our dynamic queue paces your traffic into each network's exact limits in real time, included free, so bursts deliver instead of bouncing off caps.
  • Costs you can audit. Usage-based rates, carrier and registry fees passed through at cost and published, dynamic queue included free, and anything account-specific quoted up front. Every cost is visible — there's nothing in the middle to pay for.

For platforms & resellers

The layer you build on

Some of Tychron's largest customers aren't brands — they're platforms, resellers, and software providers who make messaging part of their own product. Buying at the source is exactly what makes that work: source rates and published pass-through fees leave your margin to you, and if you run your own TCR CSP account, Connectivity Partner campaign sharing keeps your brands, campaigns, and customer relationships under your account — no re-registration. The carrier layer is what we do; what you build on it is yours.

Buying at the source FAQ

What does buying at the source actually mean?

It means your provider holds the licenses and relationships itself. Tychron is an FCC-approved numbering authority and Form 499 filer with annual CPNI certification, registers campaigns as the CSP or Connectivity Partner, and runs its own platform on its own ARIN-issued IP space, connecting at the top of the delivery ecosystem. Fewer layers between you and delivery means fewer places for latency, filtering surprises, markup, and finger-pointing to hide.

Does buying from the carrier actually improve deliverability?

It improves the things deliverability depends on: a short path with no extra intermediaries you can't see, compliance vetted in-house before carriers review it, throughput paced to each network's real limits, and one accountable party when something needs fixing. No provider can promise a delivery rate — be suspicious of any that does — but sitting at the top of the stack removes the failure modes that creep in further down.

How does this show up in pricing?

Every extra layer between you and the network adds margin. Tychron's model is usage-based rates straight from the carrier, industry fees passed through at cost and published as we notify customers, dynamic queue technology included free, and every account-specific charge quoted up front.

I'm a platform or reseller — is Tychron for me?

Absolutely — platforms, resellers, and software providers are some of Tychron's largest customers. You buy at the same source rates and transparent fee structure, keep your own customer relationships and margin, and if you run your own TCR CSP account, campaign sharing makes Tychron your Connectivity Partner with no re-registration. The carrier layer is what we do; what you build on it is yours.

Can I move existing numbers and campaigns to Tychron?

Yes. Most customers switch messaging only — hosted messaging puts Tychron on your existing numbers while your voice carrier stays put. Numbers can also port in fully with voice and messaging intact, registered 10DLC campaigns can be shared to Tychron through TCR's standard Connectivity Partner flow with no re-registration, and short codes migrate with their subscriber base. We sequence cutovers so traffic never gaps.

Ready to buy at the source?

Bring your numbers and campaigns to the carrier itself — we'll sequence the migration with no traffic gap, and you'll feel the difference on the first invoice.

* As an FCC-approved numbering authority, Tychron provisions numbers directly where it holds coverage; where it doesn't, numbers are secured through established partners.
